Disposable sugar cane trays: high resistance and top quality
Sustainable and superior quality trays? Of course it is possible, at Monouso we are sure that if you know our sugar cane trays you will not want to use any others in your services.
Sugar cane is one of the materials with the lowest environmental impact when it comes to manufacturing disposable tableware. And how do you make these trays? Our sugar cane trays are obtained from bagasse, a product obtained after the processing of sugar cane. After processing this natural material, we obtain a bioplastic called vegetable polyethylene, which does not pollute.
As they are made from a 100% vegetable product, they are compostable and degrade naturally. However, this does not mean that you can dispose of them anywhere, for a correct waste treatment you will have to deposit them in the organic container.
In addition to their ecological advantages, we can also tell you many others that will benefit your business:
- Robust and resistant, but without adding weight: Sugar cane trays have the perfect rigidity to avoid bending and resist all types of food when it comes to taking them to the table, without adding an ounce of weight. Not only that, but they can also perfectly withstand hot and cold foods, with oils or sauces, without losing their stability and without cracking.
- Easy and convenient to transport and store: these plates can be stacked very conveniently, taking up minimal storage space and facilitating transport if they are to be used at events or caterings. As they are weightless, they will be a perfect quality option to take to your parties.
- High quality appearance: when you think of disposable tableware, the classic trays you see at family celebrations come to mind, but we can assure you that the quality of our sugar cane trays is a far cry from those iconic dishes. Visually, the quality of these trays is very high and to the touch it is clearly noticeable. They have two sides, the outer side has a rougher feel and the inner side is completely smooth.

Microwave-safe
Suitable for use in the microwave. It heats up quickly and safely, as it resists without any problem and does not deform or deteriorate. We recommend checking the technical data sheet for a safe and responsible use.
Compostable
This product is compostable. Once disposed of in the organic bin, and under controlled conditions in industrial composting plants, they are converted into compost, thus closing a sustainable cycle.
Biodegradable
This product is biodegradable, it decomposes and degrades in a short period of time through a completely natural process, without leaving any residue and without the need for human intervention.
Freezer-safe
Suitable for use in the refrigerator or freezer, as our product is perfectly resistant to low temperatures without becoming brittle or degrading.
Recyclable
Recycle this product without any problem once its useful life is over. You only have to pay attention to the material it is made of to know in which container you will have to dispose of it.
